Aquatics Summer Lead Associate

Job Details: Job Location: Cypress, TX 77429. Position Type: Seasonal. Travel Percentage: None. Job Category: Recreation. POSITION SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to assist the Aquatics Director to ensure company standards and best practices are implemented and adopted, and financial budgets are met. The Aquatics Lead empowers employees through training and leadership, and delivers five-star service and clean and safe Aquatics facilities. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE Hourly, based on relevant experience to the role. 401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%. Complimentary club membership. Discounts on club products and services. QUALIFICATIONS Understands and can utilize American Red Cross standards of teamwork, rescue and surveillance. Swimming proficiency. Minimum of 2-year lifeguarding preferred. Minimum of 2-year swim instructor preferred. Experience scheduling lifeguards and swim lessons preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrates good customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational. Minimum 18 years of age. American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer). (Elis guards must obtain a valid Red cross Lifeguard certification within 30 days of hire). Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) Certification preferred. High School diploma preferred. Have physical, visual, and auditory ability to perform essential functions of the job description.
