The ideal candidate will bring some knowledge of cost and scheduling and will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects for well-known clients in the Oil Gas industry./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliAssist the project manager in developing project scope of work for required Project Controls tasks./liliStudy and understand all relevant project documents pertaining to the preparation of schedules./liliWork with all relevant project and discipline personnel to prepare schedules./liliConvert the scope of work document into a logically linked, resourced project schedule./liliPrepare realistic, achievable schedules using logical networks and where necessary integrate engineering, procurement, and construction schedules with an emphasis on the engineering and procurement pieces./liliMonitor progress against project schedule and prepare progress reports./liliCollect expended man-hours and prepare Earned Value reports and analysis./liliPrepare, review, and ensure the timely issue of all relevant reports to stakeholders./liliProvide realistic resource forecast data at a project and corporate level and provide input into the budget forecasting process./liliSupport the cost discipline to ensure accurate and timely control and forecasting of man-hour budgets and ensure that the impact of all change requests is properly assessed and included in the schedules./liliAnalyze progress and effects on schedule and advise necessary corrective action./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh school diploma with previous experience in engineering with Oil Gas and Power industry./liliMinimum of 2 years of experience in project controls./liliExperience developing and maintaining engineering schedules./liliProblem-solving skills, work to resolve complex situations with appropriate management./liliSome knowledge of project management software, specifically Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel./liliMust have an understanding of the basic principles of project management/liliMust have a high degree of computer literacy./liliStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels./liliDependable by meeting deadlines, working independently, being accountable for work, maintaining focus, being punctual, and having a good attendance record./li/ulh3Job Info/h3ulliJob Identification 13909/liliJob Category Project Controls/liliLocations 1411 Opus Pl, Downers Grove, IL, 60515, US (Hybrid)/liliJob Schedule Full time/liliJob Shift Day/li/ul/div
