RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Registered Nurse - 13 Week Contract

This position involves an 8-hour day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and requires rotating call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Call is scheduled for 7 days per month, with one weekend per month.

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our complete Cath Lab team. Our facility offers a wide range of cardiac and peripheral services, utilizing the expertise of cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and a general surgeon. The Cath Lab RN will be proficient in monitoring patients during various procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients in the Cath Lab using advanced devices including the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices.
• Assist with pre and post-procedure care, including patient transportation.
• Participate in a range of interventional procedures such as Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, and atherectomy.
• Perform carotid diagnostic and stenting, as well as peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including pacemaker insertion, tilt table test, kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostics.
• Support other duties as assigned within the Cath Lab environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Applicants must possess a valid RN license and demonstrate proficiency in cardiac and peripheral procedures. Familiarity with Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson systems is preferred.
