Facility

Fort Yuma Health Care Center is an IHS facility serving the Quechan Tribe and surrounding Native American communities. Located at 401 E. Picacho Road, Winterhaven, CA 92283.

Responsibilities

Perform clinical laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and urinalysis
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection/processing
Maintain quality control and quality assurance programs
Ensure compliance with CLIA regulations and laboratory standards
Document and report results accurately in laboratory information system

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or related field
ASCP certification (MLS or equivalent)
Current California CLS license required
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years clinical laboratory experience preferred
IHS or rural healthcare experience preferred

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No call, no weekends.
