Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology (Days) Glens Falls, NY

Glens Falls Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a background in Oncology to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced outpatient infusion center. The ideal candidate will have recent EPIC EHR experience and be certified in de-escalation training from Welle, CPI, or PMCS. This is a day shift position with a focus on administering a variety of infusion therapies including IV antibiotics, blood transfusions, PICC lines, and specialty medications such as Remicade, Stelara, and Ocrevus. Responsibilities include managing infusion treatments, educating patients on medication self-administration, maintaining central venous access devices, and ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort. Candidates must adhere to facility protocols and complete all onboarding requirements, including the 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance.

• Valid NY RN license and registration
• Recent EPIC experience
• De-escalation training completed from approved providers
• Ability to commit to the schedule and complete required training

Preferred Qualifications:

• Infusion therapy experience
• Oncology nursing experience

Additional Details:

Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted at upload; RTO requests afterward will not be approved, with a maximum of 5 days off accepted. Personal scrubs of any color are required; avoid designs or cartoons. Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training. The facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with a 2-hour notice.
