Our practice is committed to providing exceptional dental care through advanced technology, personalized treatment, and a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and comfortable.## ## The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, team-oriented, and passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health through education, prevention, and comprehensive periodontal care.## ## **Full-Time or Part-Time Options Available:*** ## The office hours are Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch)## ## Responsibilities* ## Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and preventive treatments.* ## Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, and document findings accurately.* ## Take and evaluate digital radiographs according to state regulations and office protocols.* ## Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (if licensed and certified).* ## Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, nutrition, and preventive care.* ## Assist in diagnosing and monitoring periodontal disease.* ## Collaborate with dentists and team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.* ## Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.* ## Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and sterilization standards.* ## Build positive relationships with patients to promote trust, comfort, and long-term care.* ## Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.## ## Qualifications* ## Current South Carolina Dental Hygiene License in good standing.* ## CPR/BLS Certification.* ## Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* ## Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.* ## Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and education.## ## What We Offer* ## Competitive compensation ranging from $41-47/hr* ## Health benefits as a full-time employee* ## Paid time off and holidays as a full-time employee* ## 401(k) Retirement Plan* ## Continuing education opportunities* ## Supportive and collaborative team environment* ## Modern technology and equipment* ## Long-established, respected practice in the Spartanburg community## ## Why Join Spartanburg Dental Associates?## At Spartanburg Dental Associates, we believe in delivering uncompromising excellence in dentistry while creating a positive experience for every patient.
