Physical Therapy Aide – Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and well-mannered individual to join our team as a Physical Therapy Aide. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced outpatient physical therapy setting. This position involves both front office and back office responsibilities, and training will be provided. Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist physical therapists with patient flow and treatment preparation
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises under therapist supervision
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and organized
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic at all times
• Escort patients to treatment areas and provide excellent customer service
• Monitor inventory and restock therapy supplies as needed
• Schedule patient appointments and assist with appointment confirmations
• Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with front office administrative duties and filing
• Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, and team members
• Translate for Spanish-speaking patients when necessary
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with clinic policies

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Previous Physical therapy aide experience preferred, but not required
• Preferred educational background or interest in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, or a related field
• Willingness to learn both front office and back office duties through on-site training
