School-Based Psychologist – Ottawa, Kansas
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed School Psychologist for a school-based position supporting middle school students in Ottawa, Kansas for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Position Details:

Number of Positions: 1
Caseload: Middle School
Setting: Onsite with 1 Hybrid Day per week for report writing
Hours : 40 hours per week
Full-Time preferred; Part-Time candidates will also be considered

Contract Period: August 2026 – May/June 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours

School-Based Psychologists may provide:

Psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility assessments
Social-emotional and behavioral assessments
IEP development, finalization, and participation in IEP meetings
Collaboration with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Consultation and support for teachers and staff
Progress monitoring and documentation
Crisis intervention and de-escalation support
Coordination with community mental health resources and family outreach

Qualifications:

Active Kansas School Psychologist licensure required
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
Middle school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Compensation:
This is a W-2 hourly position. Compensation varies based on experience and qualifications. Hourly rates are competitive and negotiable.
