Primary Therapist

Therapist PositionValeo Resources has partnered with a national eating disorder organization that is constantly expanding. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Therapist to join the team in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will be working with individuals and groups who are suffering from eating disorders and help adult clients of all genders achieve lasting eating disorder recovery and whole health.Position: Primary TherapistLocation: St. Louis, MOSchedule: Sunday-Thursday 8am-5pm OR 9am-6pmResponsibilities:Performs, interprets, and provides feedback to clients on various assessments relevant to eating disorder treatment (e.g., psychosocial assessment, suicide risk assessment, core assessment packet)Provides individual therapy sessions for clients, utilizing appropriate interventions adapted to the needs of the client.Completes appropriate and thorough documentation within established time frames, including progress notes for individual and family sessions, weekly therapy assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.Communicates with outpatient team to provide updates on client progress and to provide continuity of care.Requirements:Master's degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, or other relevant health related discipline (ALC, LCSW, LPC, PhD)Two years' recent related experience working with eating disordered clients or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Eligible for registration with relevant professional associationAbility to educate and provide consultation to clients, families, and healthcare professionals.Comprehensive knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and professional practice guidelines for the treatment of various disordersComprehensive knowledge of relevant Acts such as Mental Health Act, Freedom of Information Act, pertinent regulations, policies and procedures, and other statutory dutiesBenefits offered:Comprehensive Benefits for full time staffGenerous Paid Time Off, Sick Time Off and HolidaysCompany Paid Life and Disability Insurance401k Plan (Pre and Post Tax)Flexible Spending AccountsLifeMart Employee DiscountsTuition Discount ProgramFree EAP servicesFree meals and snacks (position specific)Salary range is $60k-$65k, plus a $5k sign on bonus.Please send your resume to Jennifer at View email address on click.appcast.io to learn more about the position and interview process!
