See our impressive benefits package for more information.Location: Burlington, VT Situated in the heart of Burlington's downtown district, our office sits high on the fourth floor of the Wells-Richardson historic building overlooking the beautiful Lake Champlain waterfront and Adirondack Mountains.Job Responsibilities:Have a primary role in an integrated, multi-discipline team that solves technical challenges on projects of significant scope, size and difficultyComplete assignments accurately and on time with limited direction from the Project ManagerDevelop an understanding of project budget, scope of services, project development and project scheduleProvide updates and recommendations to the Project Manager in maintaining schedule and budgetUnderstand the client's organization, key people and expectationsShare best practices to improve performance and efficiency of self and teamDevelop person-hour estimates and budgets with guidance from senior staffLead small team for moderately complex projectsAssist in proposal efforts and developmentProvide coaching, mentoring and feedback to develop entry-level and Staff Engineers, peers and others as neededConduct site visits and participate in or lead meetings with clients/ contractorsDemonstrate strong technical writing and presentation skills for deliverables, proposals and presentations in a public setting (for clients and/or at seminars and conferences)Requirements:BSCE4-10 years of relevant experienceCurrent PE in NH, MA or VTStrong skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulics preferredSalary is contingent on experienceHoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
