Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career.THE ROLE: Partner with Procurement leadership and other members to manage GOQ financial and accounting activities.  This includes strategic analysis for key customers, contract review, internal/external audit engagement, SOX compliance, month-end close and financial reporting.  THE PERSON: The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a result driven approach, high sense of teamwork, ability to handle multiple topics at once, excellent communication skills, positive outlook, and the ability to speak up and make recommendations in a fast-moving environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Consolidate / Coordinate quarterly close activities with finance team Amortization calculation Contract review Create slides for accounting reviews & financial results package Strategic deal analysis Own exit call evaluation and variance analysis Create and implement business mechanisms that are scalable to help the team make data-driven decisions Build rhythm of the business processes that help business leaders understand progress to goals as well as strategic insights to guide overall direction Perform ad-hoc analysis proactively and present findings to senior leadership PERFERRED EXPEREINCE: Finance and/or accounting professional experience Semiconductor or high-tech industry experience Strong communication skills and experience working with international teams Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve Ability to lead teams in a cross-functional setting Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint ACADEMIC CREDITIALS: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-RD1Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
