Shipping AssociateA growing company in Goodlettsville is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our climate-controlled manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll play a key part in our global logistics operation, helping ship high-quality products to customers in more than 80 countries worldwide.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Shipping Associate Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday)Prepare, package, and label products for international shipment.Select appropriate packaging materials, crates, and containers to ensure safe transportation.Generate and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and export documentation.Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company standards.Maintain an organized shipping area and monitor packaging material inventory. Assist with inventory counts and audits. Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.Coordinate with international carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.Track shipments and communicate updates to internal teams.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training available).Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Work closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure products move efficiently from production to shipment.Shipping Associate Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Previous warehouse or international shipping experience preferred.Familiarity with shipping software and basic computer skills.Forklift or material handling equipment experience is a plus (training provided if needed).Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing shipping documentation.Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
