Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Shifts may rotate between Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday depending on departmental need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a general operating room environment, including general surgery, GYN, and urology cases
• Perform circulating RN duties throughout surgical procedures
• Assist with and support robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, typically 4–5 weekday call shifts and 2–3 weekend call shifts per month (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on Saturday or Sunday); expected return to hospital within 30 minutes of callback
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arizona or compact state eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated circulating experience in the OR
• Experience with robotics, general surgery, GYN, and urology

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to adapt to rotating weekend shift schedules based on departmental needs
• Experience managing on-call responsibilities in a high-volume surgical environment
