Position: Prep Cook- Part-time and Full-time opportunities available! Status: Non-Exempt Hourly Job Classification: Food Service At Hoss's Steak & Sea House, our mission is simple: Excellence. The commitment we put into achieving this goal has made Hoss's "Where Your Family Wants To Eat" since 1983, and we are looking for hardworking individuals to join in this mission as part of our prep team. Whether you have prior food preparation experience or are interested in taking on a new challenge, we provide the training and tools to ensure that each one of our team members is successful in their role. - Knowing menus and products and preparing food according to standards
- Reading recipes, guest orders, etc.
- Using standard kitchen appliances and utensils
- Maintaining proper sanitation control of products
- Operating in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
