**Join Our Dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Team!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the exhilarating field of cardiovascular services? - We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our collaborative, patient-focused Cath Lab team! - This exciting contract position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional cardiac care. **Why Join Us?** - Work alongside a highly skilled team in a close-knit atmosphere. - Participate in a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. - Enjoy a predictable weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, with no call requirements! - Experience variable hours based on procedural volume and department needs. **Essential Responsibilities:** - Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for cardiac catheterization procedures. - Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. - Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment. - Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards. - Monitor patient status and communicate any changes to the clinical team. - Accurately document procedural information to ensure patient safety. - Assist with patient transport, positioning, and post-procedure care as needed. - Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives. - Maintain equipment and report any operational concerns promptly. **Qualifications:** - Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program. - Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred, or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with cardiac catheterization experience. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. - Minimum of five years of recent cardiac catheterization laboratory experience preferred. - Strong understanding of sterile technique, cardiovascular anatomy, and cardiac procedures. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Strong attention to detail and patient safety. - Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting procedural schedules. - Proficiency with cardiac catheterization equipment and electronic documentation systems. - Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** - At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country. - Enjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who’s with you every step of the way. - Join us — where your expertise makes a difference every day!
