Medical Assistant for Busy Interventional Pain Practice

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented team member to support a busy interventional pain practice. In this role, you will help create a positive patient experience while assisting the clinical team with daily operations, patient flow, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * Greet patients and help ensure a welcoming, efficient clinical experience * Prepare exam rooms and assist with room turnover between patients * Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and medication information as directed * Support providers with clinical and procedural tasks within scope of practice * Assist with patient education, instructions, and follow-up coordination * Manage telephone calls, messages, scheduling support, and patient communication * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record * Coordinate supplies, equipment, and inventory needs for daily clinic operations * Follow all infection control, safety, and privacy procedures * Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other team members Qualifications * Previous experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting preferred * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment * Comfort working with electronic medical records and basic computer systems * Understanding of medical terminology and patient care workflows * Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and patient confidentiality * Certification or diploma from an accredited medical assistant program preferred Preferred Experience * Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, anesthesia, or another specialty practice * Familiarity with procedure-based clinical environments * Experience supporting patient scheduling and follow-up coordination What We Offer * A supportive and team-oriented workplace * Opportunities to contribute to meaningful patient care * Hands-on experience in a specialized clinical setting * Competitive compensation and benefits, based on experience and qualifications If you are motivated by patient care, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team, we encourage you to apply.
