As a Resident Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by assisting them in various aspects of daily living. Duties/Responsibilities: Help residents with daily living, including: toileting, bathing, washing, dressing, shaving, cooking, and serving food Maintain cleanliness of home and resident rooms through assigned housekeeping duties Assist with other tasks such as recreational and social activities for residents Provide physical assistance to residents who have limited mobility by helping them walk or transporting them in wheelchairs Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident Perform administrative tasks such as: answering phones, greeting visitors, and complete documentation of care and assistance that transpired during their shift Follow state guidelines for medication administration We believe in rewarding our team members by offering a comprehensive benefits package including: 401k with Employer Contribution Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Bonus Employee referral program Health insurance - reimbursement package PAID orientation and RN educated training, including First Aid and Choking, Standard Precautions, Medication Administration & Diabetic management, and Fire Safety Growth and development opportunities (We love to promote from within!) Supportive and dedicated leadership available 24/7 Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers, resident family and visitors Reliable and dependable with attendance and punctuality Possesses good character and displays high degree of personal integrity. Displays sincere compassion towards cognitively impaired older adults.
