Responsibilities: Demonstrate competence in Speech Language Pathology evaluation, goal setting, treatment, and EMR documentation Chart appropriately and timely Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information Maintain an excellent working relationship with facility staff members Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility Read, write, speak, and understand the English language Provide dependable, regular per diem coverage Requirements: Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology 1 year of experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred Possess a current, unencumbered, NYS license and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment About Our Facility: Our 39-acre rural campus in Mid-Hudson Valley features shops, a library, music studio, post office, cafe, clubhouse, lounge, art studio, hair salon, gym, and a park with walking/jogging path.
