Director of Finance (Product) - Behavioral Health

Responsibilities Universal Health Services, Inc. (NYSE: UHS) is one of the nation's largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services. Provides finance support to the Product Management Group (PMG) and the Behavioral Health Division by leading service line planning and analysis, partnering with cross‑functional key stakeholders on new ventures and M&A, and providing finance support to the PMG on strategic priorities as well as identifying and commercializing opportunities. Finance support includes the development of pro forma P&Ls and subsequent assessment through traditional valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow analysis, return on investment, return on invested capital, and similar methodologies. This position conducts monthly financial statement and operational reviews, attesting to the accuracy and integrity of assigned Product P&Ls. Key success factors include the ability to build strong partnerships with cross‑functional partners, strong communication skills, and the ability to summarize complex concepts and data for executives. Job Responsibilities Conduct monthly financial statement and operational reviews. Develop and execute product strategy with leadership team, create pro forma P&Ls for emerging opportunities, and guide decision making in support of new product opportunities. Develop guidelines and assist product team with annual budget preparations. Develop reporting mechanisms and dashboards related to the financial performance of the product team. Perform other duties as assigned/required. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required; master's degree preferred. 8-10 years of related experience; 10+ years preferred. Five years plus progressive experience in financial capacity at a health care facility with emphasis on service line financial, planning, and analysis. Experience directing Medical Records (HIM), Business Office, Materials Management and Accounting departments preferred. Experience evaluating business development opportunities with use of valuation techniques. Excellent computer skills on various systems.
