Our boutique law firm is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Real Estate/Estate Administration Paralegal with knowledge of real estate, estate planning, and estate administration matters to join our collaborative team.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled paralegal who enjoys working closely with attorneys, managing files from start to finish, and playing an integral role in helping clients navigate important life matters.  The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple matters in a professional, fast-paced legal environment.

 

Key Real Estate Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and organize legal and closing documents and closing packages.
  • Order and review title searches, surveys, payoff statements, and municipal documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and attorneys.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure all closing requirements are satisfied.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical client files.
  • Perform post-closing follow-up and file management.
  • Provide administrative support to the attorney as needed.

 

Key Estate Administration Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with estate administration from initial filing through completion.
  • Prepare and organize probate filings, petitions, inventories, and court documents.
  • Coordinate and track estate administration tasks, including asset inventories, valuations, accountings and distributions.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical client files to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, financial institutions, courts, title companies, and government offices.
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and appointments related to estate administration.
  • Support attorneys with case management and general legal administrative functions.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple files.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Professional, dependable, and client focused.
