Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) at a healthcare facility in Iron Mountain, Michigan. The position involves working in the Pre-surgery, Pre-anesthesia, and Post-anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), with a focus on supporting various surgical specialties. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Iron Mountain, Michigan
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: 8-hour shifts beginning between 05:45 and 09:00, with schedule built by the manager. Shift hours are from approximately 05:45 to 13:45 or 09:00 to 17:00, plus rotating call.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; current BLS (AHA) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room settings; experience with Pre-surgery/PATTPACU, general, ortho, OB-GYN, urology, podiatry, and cardiology cases; scrubbing experience required for these specialties.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with pre-surgery and PACU, scrubbing of cases, and support of specialties listed above.
• EMR: Paragon
• Shift Notes: Day shifts with scheduled start times between 05:45 and 09:00; managers build schedules.
• Additional Information: Clinicians must note if they have previously worked for the organization, with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission if applicable. The client may cancel shifts up to 12 hours in advance every 13 weeks.
• Float: RNs may also cover Pre-surgery/PATTPACU and other related units.
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs are provided by the hospital.
• Orientation: One week of unit/department-specific orientation.
