Job Summary: 

The primary purpose of your job is to assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. As needed, you will also prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food and safety sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:  

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

• Previous Aide or Cook experience strongly preferred.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Varies between 5:00a - 1:00p and 12:00p - 8:00p

• Wage: $16.00 per hour
