Distribution Coordinator/Shipping ClerkThe Distribution Coordinator is responsible for supporting shipping and logistics operations while ensuring accurate inventory management, documentation, and transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and strong technical knowledge of Oracle or a similar shipping/inventory management system.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory records, lot integrity, Certificates of Conformance, and Country of Origin documentation and tracking.Ensure all distribution procedures are followed and report discrepancies as needed.Ensure products are received in a timely manner and all transactions are accurately entered into Oracle.Execute standardized work practices for Parts & Kits, ensuring inventory is safely stored in the proper locations, accurately counted, and properly labeled.Process all required paperwork and system transactions to maintain accurate inventory data.Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and handcarts to move materials, including unloading received materials.Execute assignments provided by the Shipping Supervisor and through the Parts & Kits GEMBA Board.Recommend and implement improvements related to efficiency, cost savings, quality, and workplace safety.Maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible work environment.Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, professional attitude while treating all employees fairly and respectfully.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track quality metrics and trends, and prepare reports for supervisor review.Participate in investigations related to customer complaints and product quality, implementing corrective measures to help prevent future occurrences.Perform other duties as assigned, including overtime when required.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of shipping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of Oracle or a similar shipping, inventory, or ERP system.Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and processing shipping/receiving documentation.Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to follow standardized work procedures and safety requirements.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
