Lead Teacher Job Summary: Beanstalk Academy, a leading full-service child care and early education provider with 10+ locations in the Bronx and Brooklyn, is seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Pre School Lead Teacher to join our team in the Bronx, New York. As a Pre School Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes child health and safety, and provides exceptional care and education to our students. We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 annually and opportunities for professional growth and development. Responsibilities: Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate Requirements: BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or related field - Study Plan Eligible 2+ years of experience in early childhood education Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team What We Offer: Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 annually Opportunities for professional growth and development Competitive salary based on education and experience level About Our Company: Beanstalk Academy is a leading, full-service child care and early education provider with 10+ locations in the Bronx and Brooklyn.
