This role involves providing expert nursing care to adult patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments within a dynamic healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be proficient in chemotherapy administration, patient education, and managing treatment-related side effects, contributing to a high standard of patient care and safety for oncology patients in a hospital or clinic environment. Key Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy agents safely and accurately according to physician orders and institutional policies. Monitor patients for adverse reactions, manage symptoms, and provide appropriate interventions. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care strategies. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document all findings and interventions in the electronic health record. Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
