Job Title Hackensack Endoscopy Center has an immediate need for a per diem Endoscopy RN. Overview At Hackensack Endoscopy Center we believe health and care are inseparable. Role The Endoscopy RN plans, directs, organizes, coordinates and implements nursing care services for patients before, during, and after procedures, following accepted standards of care. The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive care during the patient visit, coordinates total patient care with other health care team members, and functions as a patient advocate using the Patient's Bill of Rights. Responsibilities Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement nursing care services for pre-, intra- and post‑procedure patients. Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive, evidence‑based care during patient visits. Coordinate total patient care with other health care team members. Advocate for patients using the Patient's Bill of Rights. Demonstrate professional growth by accepting responsibility and accountability for nursing practice. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school. 1+ years of experience as an Endoscopy Nurse. Current RN license in the state of New Jersey. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Pay Range $48.00/hr – $58.00/hr (Wages determined based on qualifications and experience).
