Housekeeper

The Lodge at Mammoth Cave (MCNP ONP, LLC) operates a variety of Food Services, Retail, Lodging and Bus Transportation within the beautiful National Park! We have over 55 guest rooms ranging from standard motel style rooms, historic cottages and brand new family cabins, all within walking distance of the National Park Visitors Center! If you are looking for a unique place to work and have a passion for providing customer service, this is the spot for you this summer! Responsibilities Clean check-outs, including; changing sheets and towels, emptying trash, dusting, scrubbing and vacuuming Report damaged or missing items, turn in all lost and found items to Management Notify Management and Maintenance of any need repairs Stock cleaning supplies, guest supplies and linens Unload cart of dirty linens and trash Assist in laundry as needed Position Requirements Must be able to work a variety of day, weekend, and holiday shifts Ability to work independently Must have a valid Drivers License Must be able to complete and pass a drug screen Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs. with frequent bending, twisting and squatting required Experience One (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
