Surgical Nurse - Neurosurgery and Trauma

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift schedule: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will float between various hospitals, providing high-quality care in a busy environment focused on Neurosurgery and Trauma. Essential skills include scrub and circulate experience in craniotomy, spinal cases, and orthopedic surgeries. Level I Trauma certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for neurosurgical and orthopedic procedures.
• Provide patient care and support during surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Maintain sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical setting.
• Experience with cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases is essential.
• Level I Trauma Experience and Certification required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with orthopedic fractures is a plus.
