Diesel Mechanic

Diesel MechanicAutonomy Staffing is seeking an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join the team of our valued client in Ladson, SC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in a variety of vehicles and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines and associated components.Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues or required repairs.Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment.Collaborate with other team members to meet job requirements and ensure quality work.Requirements:Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and troubleshooting methods.Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.Good communication skills and attention to detail.Strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid drivers license (CDL is a plus).High school diploma or equivalent; certification in diesel mechanics is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience.Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, etc.).Opportunities for advancement within the company.A supportive and team-oriented work environment.
