Job Description

As a Fire Alarms Systems - Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide high-level technical support and service to our customers, ensuring the optimal performance of Honeywell products and systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, perform maintenance and repairs, and provide training and guidance to customers and junior technicians. Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• System Testing & Inspections: Perform periodic tests and yearly NFPA fire alarm inspections to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Diagnosis & Repair: Use tools like multimeters and hand tools to troubleshoot and resolve faults in fire alarm components, including smoke detectors, pull stations, and notification devices.
• System Programming: Program various fire alarm control panels (FACPs) and integrated systems like EBI (Enterprise Buildings Integrator), ensuring they adhere to specific site plans and contract requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all inspections, tests, and service actions.
• Technical Guidance: Train customers on system operation and mentor junior technicians in fire safety standards and troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical service or field service role
• Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

The annual base salary range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00 hourly. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
