Job Opportunity: Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Our organization is on the lookout for exceptional pediatric anesthesiologists to deliver anesthesia services at our Children's Hospital. Ideal candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology, have completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology, and hold or be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.

• Specialties: Pediatric, acute pain, liver transplant, cardiac
• Schedule: Daytime coverage, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call: In-house from 5:00 PM to 7:30 AM; beeper call from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Supervision: CRNA supervision with a target of 2:1 concurrency
• Team: Comprises 40 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs
• Academic Appointment: Yes

Our Children's Hospital is a 313-bed acute care teaching facility located in the Lawrenceville area of Pittsburgh. It is recognized regionally, nationally, and internationally for its excellence in treating pediatric conditions and diseases, pioneering new therapies, and training future pediatricians and subspecialists.

Consistently featured on prestigious lists, our hospital is proud to be among the top pediatric hospitals as recognized by U.S. News & World Report. We are one of only 6% of hospitals nationwide to achieve Magnet Recognition status from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

As the first pediatric hospital in the U.S. to receive Stage 7 recognition from HIMSS Analytics for our electronic medical records, we lead in advanced technology. Our clinical services span over 40 specialties, including comprehensive cardiac care and pediatric transplantation.

Our facility includes 14 operating rooms, six of which are equipped with state-of-the-art minimally invasive technology. The Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research Center is among a select few funded by the National Institutes of Health, dedicated to pediatric research.
