This position requires a detail-oriented individual that has the ability to take responsibility and see projects thru to completion.What does the Electrical Assembler do at SpecSys?Perform continuity checks on electrical circuitsTroubleshoot wiring problemsIdentify appropriate assembly sequences to minimize unproductive timeEnsure products are built and tested to meet customer requirementsIdentify component shortages and coordinate parts tracking with purchasing / material handling departmentCoordinate workload with the assigned project manager to ensure design changes ECO changes are implemented into the overall assembly processProvide input into QC process improvementsWhat are we looking for in a great Electrical Assembler candidate?Understands AC/DC electrical circuits and wiring common to industrial control panels and machineryReads and understands written informationAccurately reads and interprets electrical schematics and wiring chartsCan identify problems and review informationUnderstands and is willingness to follow work order instructions including sign-off of assembly department dispatchesCan Lift 75 poundsUnderstands and follows existing QC processesCan stand for 8 hours plus per dayKnowledge of designing, using, and repairing machines and tools, computer hardware and software, how to build machines, using plans, blueprints, drawings, and modelsCan use math skills to solve problemsOr any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performanceMany tasks include their own work and/or the review of work of others in the department.
