Truck Driver CDL A Regional Travel

Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Dallas, TX — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Drivers are averaging $2000+ or more per week. Top 10% of our drivers at this location make $100k+/year. Compensation and Benefits Paid weekly. Hourly base pay $29.00 plus an additional $1 for every 3 certifications/endorsements. Ongoing overtime pay after 40 hours per week. Per diem pay $50.00 per night. Paid travel and lodging provided. Tenure bonus $1000 each year you are with the company (Nov. 1 to Oct. 31). Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days. 80 hours PTO in your first year (use it or get paid for it). Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided. 401(k) rollover with company match after 1 year. 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility criteria). Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age. Pass a Ryder Drug Test. Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years. Pass a DOT physical. Pass a Ryder road test. Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position. Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within the past 3 years, 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years. Must have Real ID or Passport for travel. Hazmat endorsements preferred. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Responsibilities Drive tractor/trailer to deliver freight to assigned destinations. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs. Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer. Secure freight using strapping, tarping, chaining, and other methods. Operate equipment such as manual pallet jack, rollers, lift gate, and Moffett. Perform other duties as assigned.
