Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

$33–$36/hour | Full-Time | Benefits

Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Civita Care Center at Milford. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to provide hands-on therapy while helping residents improve mobility, build strength, and work toward greater independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with gait training, strengthening, balance, transfers, endurance, and functional mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and rehabilitation goals
• Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the supervising PT
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises, safe movement techniques, and mobility strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut PTA license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing resident-centered rehabilitation
• Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
