Overview
Occupational Therapist – Acute Care travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Start date 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $1,521 to $1,630 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 08:00–16:30 (8.5 hours per day). Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to adult and geriatric residents, focusing on functional independence and safety.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized OT treatment plans with measurable goals and progress documentation.
- Conduct standardized assessments, re-assess as patient status changes, and adjust goals and interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy staff, social work, and case management) to support discharge planning and transition of care.
- Document patient status, progress, and outcomes in the medical record; ensure compliance with regulatory and facility policies.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, energy conservation, and safety strategies to support ongoing function.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentialing and NM caregiver account requirements as applicable
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary care setting and maintain standards of patient safety
