Works under direct supervision to support senior engineers on various projects.Job Responsibilities* Assist in the design and development of electronic circuits, components, and systems for defense and aerospace products.* Conduct basic testing and debugging of electronic hardware, including circuit boards and prototypes.* Perform calculations and simulations to verify design specifications and performance.* Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, under guidance.* Support the integration of electrical systems into larger aerospace and defense platforms.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers.* Participate in design reviews and provide input on technical aspects.* Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to electronic and electrical systems.* Adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.* Continuously learn and apply new technologies and engineering principles.Job Qualifications*AS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.* Familiarity with basic electronic components, circuits, and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).* Understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles.* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle) is a plus.* Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers is desirable.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.* Must be a U.S. Citizen due to defense contract requirements.BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
