Warehouse Team Lead

We are seeking a dependable, hands‑on Warehouse Team Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations and help our team achieve high standards for safety, productivity, inventory control, and order accuracy. This is a direct supervisory role for a leader who enjoys developing employees, improving processes, and working alongside the team to get the job done. Assign daily work and provide clear direction to ensure operational priorities are met. Drive warehouse productivity while maintaining high standards for inventory control, order-fulfillment speed, and accuracy. Monitor workflow, employee performance, and departmental results. Identify opportunities for process improvement through direct observation and collaboration with team members and warehouse leadership. Promote a safety-first culture and ensure daily activities are performed in accordance with established safety procedures. Conduct regular safety observations and promptly address unsafe conditions or behaviors. Ensure required daily, weekly, and monthly communications, procedures, and reporting are completed consistently. Escalate operational issues, safety concerns, staffing needs, and other important matters through the appropriate channels in a professional and timely manner. Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment. Support inventory counts, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and other warehouse activities as needed. Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable, and team-focused workplace. Qualifications Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or related operational experience. Prior team‑lead or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety. Ability to balance productivity, speed, and accuracy. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and adjust to changing priorities. Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse or inventory‑management systems preferred. Ability to communicate professionally with employees and leadership. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform other physical warehouse activities. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions.
