Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Full‑time Regular Glendale, AZ, US Overview We are hiring Registered Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for our Glendale office. Oncology experience or related experience preferred. The RN or PA-C will maintain a cohesive working relationship with the collaborating physician and will focus on working in tandem with the physician to provide patient care in the office and hospital. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals as needed. Counsel and educate patients on health behaviors, self‑care skills, and treatment options. Collaborate in treatment and monitoring of chronic diseases, hematologic conditions, and side effects of chemotherapy. Obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies (e.g., lab tests, x‑rays, EKGs) under the supervision of the collaborating physician. Prescribe medications. Prescribe physical therapy and other rehabilitation treatments. Provide survivorship directives for patients. Knowledge and Skills Desire to work in an office‑based clinic. Ability to work closely in a team setting with physicians to see all patients in a timely fashion. Organize and prioritize work effectively. Quick learner able to absorb a great deal of information. Proficiency with office equipment and computer systems. Education and Experience Registered Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant licensed to work in the State of Arizona. ACLS/BLS certification. Current license through the Arizona State Board of Medical Examiners. Current DEA license.
