The American Wagyu Association is seeking qualified applicants for a Customer Service Representative in its Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office. This position is responsible for supporting Association goals by building strong, lasting relationships with the Association’s membership, customers and employees. Customer service is important in many aspects of the Association; therefore, the customer service representative has a vital role in the success of the Association. 

The Customer Service Representative will navigate member service protocol including customer service policies, objectives and initiatives, and align customer service activities and initiatives to support and enhance the objectives of the organization. The Customer Service Representative will develop and deliver customer interactions across multiple channels with incoming and outgoing communication including mail, phone calls, email, online messaging and in-person member communication. This position reports to the American Wagyu Association Office Manager. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist and educate members with the processes of the Association 

• Create and maintain new member profiles and process applications

• Managing member account follow-ups and outstanding receivables

• Maintain confidentiality with all financial and member records 

• Data entry assistance for members 

• Answer, screen, and forward any incoming phone calls 

• Filing, scanning, photocopying, collating, faxing etc. 

• Build sustainable relationships with members through friendly, open, and interactive communication 

• Performs other related duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

• Dependability/Attendance

• Good analytical skills and attention to detail 

• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette with proven customer support experience 

• Ability to communicate effectively with members in writing and telephone

• Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues while maintaining a professional demeanor 

• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively 

• Computer skills & experience with a variety of programs 

• Basic accounting skills useful 

• Microsoft Office Suite experience with intermediate expertise in Excel useful 

• High School Diploma w/ 2 years work experience useful 

• Animal science experience is a plus, but not required
