Safety Coordinator

What You'll Do Coordinate and support plant safety programs to help maintain a safe working environment. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses. Investigate workplace incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and help implement corrective actions. Coordinate and deliver safety training, including new hire orientation and OSHA-required training programs. Track safety metrics, maintain documentation, and assist with regulatory compliance activities. Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, and HR to improve workplace safety initiatives. Spend time on the manufacturing floor coaching employees and reinforcing safe work practices. Assist with annual compliance activities, inspections, and continuous improvement projects. What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Fire Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong communication skills with the confidence to lead training sessions and interact with employees at all levels. Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
