Food Service Worker

Zest Culinary Services - Alabama School of Math & Science | Mobile, AL

Are you looking for a rewarding position that aligns with the school calendar? Zest Culinary Services (formerly known as MMI Dining Systems) is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team at the Alabama School of Math & Science in Mobile, AL.

In this role, you'll interact daily with students and staff, so a friendly attitude and commitment to Southern Hospitality are a must. You'll be part of a team that helps deliver excellent service and support to a vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the cashier station accurately and efficiently
Provide outstanding customer service to students and staff
Assist in kitchen duties including:
Stocking food and beverages
Prepping food stations
Packing and serving meals
General cleaning and sanitation tasks
Support kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient service

What We're Looking For:

At least 1 year of experience as a cashier in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Strong basic math skills to make correct change without overages or shortages
A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
