Family Medicine physician employment in Alabama : - Serves as the Primary Care Optimization (PCO) team leader providing comprehensive outpatient care to beneficiaries ranging from newborn to geriatric age presenting with complex and interdependent acute and chronic conditions. - Provide pre- and post-deployment health assessments as well as preventive health assessments (PHA). - Perform ambulatory surgical procedures including but not limited to casting/splinting, suturing, excisional skin biopsies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies. - Guide, counsel, and supervise PCMH team personnel including physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical technicians, and administrative personnel. - Provide professional guidance concerning military unit/MTF policies and standard operating procedures. - Participate in local disaster training exercises to maintain preparedness levels.
