This position operates independently in the field, supports and mentors junior technicians, and serves as a trusted resource for customers. You’ll work on complex systems across a variety of commercial environments, delivering high-quality solutions that keep critical operations running. Key Responsibilities: Independently troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC issues including RTU, controls, chillers, boilers, and multi-zone systems. Perform system start-ups, commissioning, and performance testing Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues with precision Interface directly with customers, building engineers, and project teams Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and company procedures Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and recommendations Qualifications: 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience. Expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and diagnostics. EPA 608 Universal Certification required. Additional certifications (e.g., NATE, OSHA 30, manufacturer training) a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to manage projects and mentor lower-level techs.
