We are on the lookout for a passionate individual to join our team and help us continue delivering the unparalleled guest experience that sets us apart.As a Carpenter at Grand Geneva, you will perform daily and preventive maintenance to keep hotel buildings and equipment in optimal condition with minimal downtime, while supporting continuous improvement of engineering services for guests and associates under the direction of the Director of Resort Maintenance.Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva is a 1,300 acre, AAA Four Diamond resort and spa recognized as a Top Resort in the Midwest by Conde Nast Traveler. We are a longstanding symbol of home and family, rooted in tradition and eager to shape a brighter future together.What will you be doing?Perform daily shift reports; document all calls in Carpenter log.Follow all OSHA standards.Maintain interior and exterior of hotel building(s).Respond to guest calls and associate requests in a timely manner.Assist in cost control: Heat, Power, Light, Sewer and Water.Repair and or maintain the following:All building and FF&EFire Alarm and Life Safety equipmentAttend all required Engineering Department and other meetings.Perform other duties as assigned.What do you bring to the role?High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous carpentry experience required.
