CCA Quality Inspector
$18 - $28 per hourGlobal
Description:
Perform visual inspection of circuit card assemblies to verify compliance with IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, manufacturing specifications, and quality standards. Support solder and conformal coating inspection activities utilizing microscopes, measuring devices, drawings, and written inspection instructions. Analyze assemblies for non-conformances while maintaining a quality-focused, zero-defect mindset.

# Education & Job Requirements
*2 - 4 years of experience with IPC-A-610
*2 - 4 years of experience with IPC-J-STD
*2 - 4 years of experience with Visual Inspection
*1 - 2 years of experience with Documentation Skills
*1 - 2 years of experience with Measurement Standards
*Minimum 2 years of experience performing visual solder inspection on circuit card assemblies
*Minimum 1 year of experience inspecting conformal coating on circuit card assemblies
*Demonstrate the ability to identify non-conformances per applicable documentation and specifications
*Interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC standards, revision control documents, reference documents, and work instructions
*Navigate and utilize personal computers proficiently
*Communicate effectively with strong verbal and written communication skills
*Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when addressing quality defects
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
# Job Duties & Functions
*Inspect solder connections for SMT and through-hole applications in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 requirements
*Examine conformal coating applications on circuit card assemblies
*Utilize predetermined inspection methods, operations, and prescribed specifications during inspection activities
*Review drawings and written inspection instructions to verify product compliance
*Operate measuring devices, including dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, and related equipment
*Perform 100% visual inspection of circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications
*Identify and document non-conformances in accordance with applicable requirements
*Verify compliance with IPC standards and related reference documentation
*Support quality objectives through adherence to established inspection processes

*Work under a microscope for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours
*Remain seated at a workstation for extended periods of time
