Production Associate
Job Title: Production Associate 2nd Shift
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Talladega, AL. Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:15 PM
Job Summary: Production Associate with experience supporting automotive manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. Responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging automotive interior components while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. Skilled in operating production equipment, following work instructions, performing quality checks, and collaborating with team members to meet daily production goals. Demonstrates strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble automotive interior parts and components according to specifications
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production processes and report defects or equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety guidelines.
- Meet production targets while minimizing waste and downtime.
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Support team efforts to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- No prior experience required (entry-level position).
- Ability to use or learn to use:
- Hand tools and power tools
- Production and assembly equipment
- Forklifts, hoists, cranes, welders, and robotic equipment as assigned.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to meet production and quality standards while following safety procedures.
- Ability to work any assigned shift and overtime on short notice when needed.
- Some positions require the ability to distinguish colors accurately for quality inspections.
- Forklift training is required only for employees assigned to tow motor/forklift duties.
