Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and developing customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently, depending on your qualifications
• Guiding patients and families through prevention, wellness, and management of diseases
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within your scope of practice

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty credentials
