Requisition ID: 180377 Job Level: Mid Level Home District/Group: DHO Information Technology Group Department: Technology Group Market: Corporate Home Office Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview As a Platform Administrator, you will provide Tier 2 technical support and platform administration across Kiewit’s enterprise systems. You will troubleshoot escalated issues, manage access to business‑critical platforms, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure system reliability and performance. This role is part of an established and collaborative team and is ideal for proactive individuals who take ownership of issues and are eager to learn and grow in platform administration, automation, and cloud technologies. District Overview Kiewit Technology Group builds solutions to enable and support our company's expansive operations. Our mission is to deliver project schedule and cost certainty by employing technology designed by and for the construction industry. Our team utilizes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewit's business and the project lifecycle to improve planning and day‑to‑day execution in the field. We give our people real‑time data to make faster, smarter decisions. Location This is a full‑time in‑office role located on our LaVista, NE campus. This role requires in‑office hours M‑F from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role also requires some on‑call responsibilities. Responsibilities Provide Tier 2 support by troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues Support administration of user access and permissions across business‑critical platforms Perform routine system checks, monitoring, and maintenance tasks Follow established processes to diagnose issues and escape more complex problems as needed Collaborate with team members and partner teams to resolve issues Document issues, resolutions, and standard procedures Assist with process improvements and automation efforts Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED 2–4 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical role Experience troubleshooting common enterprise technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, file shares, system configurations) Basic understanding of identity and access management, including permissions and group management (e.g. Active Directory or similar systems) Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and follow through on issue resolution Self‑motivated with a proactive approach and strong sense of ownership Ability to follow Kiewit standards and policies Preferred Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python) Basic understanding of networking or firewall concepts Experience working in a service desk or customer support environment Preferred Technical Experience Cloud & Identity Microsoft Azure Microsoft 365 (O365) On‑premises Active Directory Virtualization & Infrastructure Citrix VMware vSphere Security & Backup Saviynt Rubrik Scripting Command Prompt (CMD) PowerShell Python Other Requirements Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
