Position Title Psychiatry - Behavioral Medicine - Sahlem Overview Duke University School of Medicine is a top-ranked medical school founded in 1930. The Duke Psychiatric Advanced Clinical-Translational Idea Lab (PACTiLab) focuses on developing new treatments for psychiatric illnesses, especially addiction and mood disorders. Projects involve translational research, neuromodulation techniques such as rTMS and ECT, and clinical trials from phase‑1 to phase‑3. Job Responsibilities Design and conduct clinical trials. Administer and process functional magnetic resonance imaging. Administer repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). Screen and assess clinical‑participant eligibility. Prepare presentations and write manuscripts. Perform behavioral data analysis. Conduct literature searches and summarize findings. Other research and clinical tasks as needed. Allocate protected time for career‑development projects and learning opportunities. Minimum Requirements Completion of an associate’s degree. At least two years of relevant research experience; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for the experience requirement. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with an addiction population. Anticipated Pay Range The base salary for this position ranges from USD $59,829.00 to USD $99,960.00 per year.
