We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our Adult Men's Residential Treatment Program in Arlington, VA.Two Per Diem/PRN LPNs needed: 1. All shifts 2. Overnight onlyPay: $30-35 an hour with an opportunity to earn more based on experience, degrees, and other relevant qualifications.THE PROGRAM:The program is a 64-bed residential program that offers medically monitored and clinically managed intensive residential treatment services for adult men with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This intensive residential program helps break the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse and equips men with the tools needed to be successful at the next appropriate level of care.As an LPN on our team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, person-centered care during one of the most critical phases of treatment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide general nursing care services within the legal scope of nursing practice and standards developed by the profession, Nurse Practice Act, and regulatory agenciesUse professional nursing processes, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while carrying out nursing responsibilitiesCommunicate health care needs of clients to appropriate supervising staffRespond to emergency health care needs of the clientsMonitors client supervisionMaintain adherence to posted scheduleFacilitates residential community groups as scheduled or as needed to resolve community issuesMeets regularly with Residential Structure to ensure smooth operations of facility and RCSSupervise house checks on a regular and random basisCoordinate shift turnover to ensure smooth transitions and dissemination of appropriate information to the next shiftLiaison for communication of clinical information between staffPerform health screenings of clientsCollect and record data specific to the health status of clientsAssist in monitoring special programs such as infection control and medication managementProvides health care instruction and information to clients relating to the promotion of health and wellness.Attend and participate in scheduled staff meetings as requiredResponsible for maintaining ethical standards and continued professional growth, includingAbide by Program and NCTR policy and proceduresEnsure all CARF standards are instituted and maintainedPromote, in public and private contacts, the quality standards and ethical practices of NCTR staff.Continue professional growth by attending workshops, trainings and staff in-service trainings to increase skill and knowledge and to set appropriate example for staffMaintain current licensure/certification including FEAR, CPR, First Aid, and Medication ManagementMaintain professional boundaries with staff and clientsPlease note: There is a required training and orientation period when you first start working where attendance and completion of all trainings will be mandatory to remain employed.
